Cinematography and Direction
Nikhil Nagesh Bhat does a splendid job directing. Tight spaces raise tension because the constraints and cramped spaces distress the audience. Arvind Singh’s cinematography is at its best. It brings out all the brutality in graphic detail, making every punch and slash hit home hard. Using practical effects over CGI adds to the film’s authenticity, grounding its hyper-violent action in a gritty realism rarely seen in Indian cinema.
Performances
Lakshya is truly impressive in performance and carries the film, playing Amrit with vulnerability but fierce determination. He adds hues to the role of an army man through love and revenge, so he is certainly more than a spartan action hero here. An equally strong performance in the film comes from Raghav Juyal, who, as Fani, is a pure menace and becomes a formidable antagonist.
Music and Sound Design
Sachin Jigar’s music only enhances the movie’s intensity. His background score keeps one on the edge of one’s seat but always maintains the emotional quotient in a tightrope walk. Not to mention, the remarkable sound design made all those action sequences terrific and realistic. One can hear the bones break with every fight, which adds to the brutal realism of this film.

“Kill” is not for the faint-hearted. It is an unrelenting, high-octane thriller that completely redefines what Indian action stands for in terms of unabashed violence and a strong emotional core.
